The Saint Mary’s M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy program had a strong showing at the 2024 Minnesota Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) conference this past week! Saint Mary’s current students, faculty, alumni, staff, and site supervisors attended, presented, and connected with the larger Minnesota MFT community.
In the plenary session titled, “Connecting Across the Work-Life Span,” MFT Clinical and Associate Director, Sara Heinzen, MA, LMFT, current MFT practicum student, Hanan Mohamud, and recent MFT alumnus, Mason Quist, MA, were panelists who discussed the various stages of their careers and importance of building connections across generations. Morgan Messer, MS, LMFT, was also a panelist in the session, and Alex Iantaffi, PhD, MS, SEP, CST, CST-S, LMFT, MAMFT President and past clinical supervisor of SMUMN MFT practicum students, moderated the panel. Nearly 200 audience members were in attendance!
Thank you, Sara, Hanan, and Mason, for sharing your wisdom with the larger MFT community!
