Dear SMU Friends,

Thanks for your prayers and support. We have been greatly blessed by the quick response of many, especially the St. Mary’s community who found us a long term, temporary housing option in under 24 hours and has been great about making sure the whole family is taken care of by bringing extra beds, linens, food, etc. Many others have also stepped in to help things move along as smoothly as possible in this challenging situation.

We are settling in and with all the moving parts, the best way to support at this time is honestly through gas, grocery, and restaurant gift cards. As many may be aware, we are also dealing with cancer treatments for one family member, surgical recovery for another, and our daughter’s ongoing medical needs at the same time. Our medical appointment situation fluctuates and we need to be in Rochester and/or LaCrosse weekly and that is increasing in frequency in the middle of all of the fire recovery. Our schedule often changes at the last minute and our housing doesn’t have a lot of room for food storage or preparation.

Gift cards can be dropped off with Cardinal Central in the basement of St. Mary’s Hall.

Pending insurance go ahead, we are planning at least 3 work days in March where extra hands might be useful. If this is something that you are willing to do, please email euphrosynecornerfarm@gmail.com. We may not be able to respond to every email, but we will compile a list and send an email with work dates, location and more information.

We are asking that any specific details about work days, the exact location we are living, and personal family information be kept off of public forums. It is fine to share generally to individual lists even if they are rather broad, but please do not publish that sort of information on any public social media or print materials.

Again, thank you so much for your prayers and support. We are really incapable of expressing our gratitude, although we won’t stop trying.

Tim & Heidi Indahl
