Today Culture of Life Club is hosting their annual Memorial for the Unborn outside of Toner. According to the CDC, there were 1,699 legal abortions performed per day in 2020 which is one of the most recent statistics found within the United States. The CDC has also stated that there have been increases in abortions leading up to 2024. We have white flags set up outside of Toner, where one flag represents 5 unborn babies who lost their lives today.
During Respect Life Month, it is fitting to bring awareness to this important issue at a Catholic University which proudly promotes inclusion and human dignity at every stage – from conception to natural death.
