When junior Maddie McCartney was choosing a college, she knew she wanted to grow academically and in her faith. Saint Mary’s allowed her to do both by majoring in psychology and minoring in theology while serving as a Peer Minister through Campus Ministry.
The Campus Ministry community is part of what drew McCartney to Saint Mary’s. She knew it was a place where she and her peers could grow in their faith. “I was looking for a school with a tight knit community that felt like home,” she said. “I really loved the campus and the beauty of Winona, and I also really loved the people that I met and how they were living their Catholic identity as well.”
