On Saturday, February 8, at 9 AM in the Chapel of Saint Thomas More, our president, Father James Burns will celebrate the Divine Liturgy of the Maronite Rite. The Maronite Church is one of 24 churches in union with Rome that has its own unique liturgical, ecclesiastical, and spiritual heritage. Its liturgy is mostly celebrated in Aramaic, the language of Jesus. Several parishioners from St. Maron’s Maronite parish in Minneapolis will join to assist at the liturgy, with light refreshments to follow in the Campus Ministry lounge. All are welcome to this special celebration.
