Several student organizations, in partnership with the Hendrickson Institute for Ethical Leadership, are holding a dynamic panel discussion on how local leaders coming from different political backgrounds are able to work together for the good of the region amidst a polarized society. Students, faculty, and staff of Saint Mary’s as well as outside members from the Winona community are invited to join us.

Guest panelists include State Rep. Gene Pelowski, Winona Mayor Scott Sherman, Winona City Councilmember Steve Young, and Engage Winona Executive Director Marcia Ratliff.

This panel is a continuation of the Civil Discourse Initiative that was started at Saint Mary’s last year.

Student clubs co-sponsoring the event include the College Republicans, College Democrats, Student Senate, and the Public Relations/Business Club.

Panel Title: “Local Leadership in Divisive Times”
