Did you know that there is a support feature in Canvas that is readily available to all students, faculty, and staff at Saint Mary’s? The EdTech department offers a subscription of Canvas Support, a 24/7 help center within Canvas, to the Saint Mary’s community. This feature allows users to contact the Canvas support team at anytime via phone or chat. And, while the EdTech team is still here to support all Saint Mary’s instructors and staff, using the Canvas Support feature is beneficial in many ways. For example:
- The Canvas Support feature is available 24/7 , which is perfect during those late night Canvas work sessions.
- The Canvas Support feature offers a chat option, allowing users to IM (instant message) the Canvas experts.
- The Canvas Support feature is also available to students so instructors can direct students to the chat feature or Canvas hotline.
To use this support feature, you simply need to log-in to Canvas. The support icon is on the left-side of any Canvas page (see image included in post). Simply click the icon and the variety of help options will appear.
