At Saint Mary’s, Maggie Newhouse has learned leadership skills in the classroom, on the court, and in front of her peers. Basketball player and president of the student senate, Newhouse enjoys building connections with students, faculty, and administrators.
She double majors in health humanities and Spanish, hoping to work as a public health director. She feels her time at Saint Mary’s prepared her for professional success. “I’ve been challenged here and been given so many opportunities to excel,” she said. “I’ve developed leadership and people skills, as well as character and values that grad schools are looking for.”
