This week, Saint Mary’s will host 43 religious sisters from the U.S.-Latin American Sisters Exchange Program. The sisters are visiting the Winona Campus for a week-long residency.

During their visit, the sisters will learn about our Lasallian Catholic heritage and visit with students, faculty, and staff.

The sisters are enrolled at Saint Mary’s University as a part of a partnership with the Catholic Extension Society. While receiving an education from Saint Mary’s University, the sisters serve as missionaries in Latino communities across the U.S. The sisters are enrolled in Saint Mary’s University’s Health and Human Services programs, with 28 of the students completing an online bachelor’s program and 14 completing a master’s degree.

This is the first time the sisters will visit Saint Mary’s University’s Winona Campus since beginning the program in 2019.
