Lasallian Day of Service,
I needed help with outdoor tasks. I called, several weeks ago, the Office of Campus Ministry to request volunteer help. Promptly at 10:00 this morning, two Saint Mary’s students came to my home. Thank you to the two students. They quickly cleaned my clogged gutters, in less than an hour, and put the two ladders away. The students were courteous, efficient, and even laughed at my pathetic jokes about when I did all of our outdoor tasks. And, they explained they would not accept my gift.
