On Oct. 22, we had over 150 students, staff and alumni go out into their community to give their time as a part of Lasallian Day of Service. Saint Mary’s was represented at service sites in 14 cities, 5 states, and 2 countries, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Florida, and Peru.
The volunteers worked a combined total of 450 hours, where they packed 8500 meals, prepared 1000 pairs of jeans for family pick up, donated $1000 worth of household/school supplies and food, and various sites participated in clean-up and organizing projects.
Thank you to all who participated and showed Saint Mary’s commitment to the Lasallian Catholic charism.
