On Wednesday, March 15, faculty and students from SMU met via zoom a similar group at La Salle University in Bogotá, Colombia, as part of De La Salle Week. The topic was “The 12 Virtues of a Lasallian Teacher” and was held in Aquinas 200 from 6:00-7:00pm. After the time change the weekend before, both groups were in the same time zone.
The conversation was lively and involved several members of both groups. La Salle U was represented by Education faculty and students, so the topic was especially relevant for them. The feedback from everyone involved was very positive. Let’s hope this is but the first of many fruitful conversations with members of our global Lasallian Family!
