Want to see something amazing! Bro John Grover is taking students to a nearby modern megalithic garden: “Kinstone.” Think Stonehenge! Students will have the opportunity to experience an exclusive pre-season visit to the site. In addition to the tour, students will have the opportunity to do some service work with the founder and creator.
Perched on the bluff overlooking the Mississippi river, Kinstone “is a place of art and creative expression on a grand scale. Love of the earth and wonder at the mystery and beauty of the story that we find ourselves in is at its core,” says founder Kristine Beck, a SMUMN alum. The standing stones honor her family members.
