The Kabara Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies is pleased to announce the winners of the Fall 2024 pitch competition.  The event was held on Wednesday the 13th of November from 4-6pm.

Gianna Brewer took home the first prize of $500 for her concept of green burials.  As a first year student, Gianna was very composed and presented a very clear vision.  Baltazar Rojas won 2nd place for his concept of ice cream by the pound.  This one made all the judges hungry to hear more.  In third place was Kendra and Grant Schneider with an innovative idea to update a legacy industry.  The final award went to Priyanka Satish for the best use of a prop or prototype during her presentation.

To all the students who presented, and the faculty and staff who helped judge the presentations, we owe a debt of gratitude for helping the institute build amazing student experiences!

A special shout out to Alyssa Jones for all the effort she put into coordinating the chaos of helping presenters in and out of the room in a very professional manner!
