The Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota community will celebrate Founders’ Day on Tuesday, March 14, 2022 on its Winona campus.
Founders’ Day celebrates the founding of our university by the Most Reverend Patrick Heffron, Bishop of the Diocese of Winona, over 100 years ago and the founding of the De La Salle Christian Brothers by Saint John Baptist De La Salle over 300 years ago.

The Founders’ Day Convocation will honor our Brother Charles Severin, FSC, Excellence in Teaching Award winner, our Distinguished Lasallian Educator, the Brother Louis DeThomasis, FSC Award winner, and the nominees for the 2023 Outstanding Male and Female Student at the College.
