Are you a musician who is looking to continue playing their instrument in college? A former band student who would like to join a music ensemble but are concerned about the time commitment? Are you interested in supporting our SMUMN athletes through music? Well, then the Pep Band Club wants YOU! The Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (SMUMN) Pep Band, or Pep Band Club for short, will be hosting an informational table in Toner Student Center this week from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday (2/1) through Thursday (2/3) to recruit new members for the remainder of its winter season, as well as for the 2022-2023 academic year. Any interested students are encouraged to stop by, or to scan the QR code on the digital posters across campus for more information.
The Club’s next rehearsal will be this Wednesday, February 2nd, from 8:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Saint Yon’s Hall, Room 158 (Band Room). The Club’s next public performance will be at the women’s hockey game vs. St. Catherine’s at 2:00 p.m. this Saturday, February 5th, at the SMU Ice Arena for Cancer Awareness Day. We hope to see you there to support our ladies!
