The Writing Center
The Writing Center offers both online and in-person tutorials for up to one hour for any written assignment in any class at Saint Mary’s. We want to make you the best writer you can be in college and beyond. Our tutors are thoroughly trained to:
- Help you understand an assignment
- Help you build the argument and the structure of your paper
- Help you expand your vocab and work on sentence structure
- Help you learn to avoid plagiarism through proper citation
- Work with you on resumes
The Writing Center offers specialists in ESL, Biology, and Business Communication. We are located in Saint Mary’s Hall 22 on weekdays, and the Library room 39 on Sundays, and we offer zoom tutorials as well. Appointments are required (no walk-ins).
