Career Services’ plan is to work across the university to ensure every student, faculty, and staff member is aware of the importance of career readiness and the career competencies employers across all fields seek for our students to meet workforce needs and produce career-ready graduates.
To help all students prepare or improve their career-ready tool kit, as well as help our Winona undergraduates prepare for our upcoming 9th Annual Career & Internship Fair being held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Career Services is offering the following workshops and ask that you promote and encourage student attendance.
Students may sign up to attend any and all of the following events by clicking on the link and registering in Handshake:
We also ask that you strongly recommend that students set up their  Handshake profile. Handshake is a valuable resource that helps students access organizations, internships, on-campus jobs, careers and events to assist them with their career goal. Watch for upcoming dates to learn more about Handshake so you can effectively share the benefits to students.
  • Over 500,000 organizations are on Handshake to connect students to opportunities. Employers of all shapes and sizes hiring students like you. Including every Fortune 500 company, as well as startups, nonprofits, and more.
  • 80% of students who share their interests receive a message from a recruiter on Handshake.
Career Services is here to take students from Cardinal to Career in partnership with you! We appreciate our faculty and staff partners as we work to develop career-ready graduates of Saint Mary’s University prepared to meet workforce needs.
