The new kids on the block, our freshman class, are currently in the lead in the Handshake challenge!
Students set up your Handshake profile by 8 a.m. Monday, September 12th (deadline extended). The class with the highest number of profile completions will win an ice cream social from Career Services. In addition, the Res Life team with the most Handshake profiles completed will win a point toward the Res Life Cup.
Handshake:
- Helps you research organizations;
- Identify and apply for internship and job opportunities;
- Connects you to on-campus work-study jobs
- Offer virtual and in person events offered by both Career Services and organizations around the country who want to help you become career-ready!

Things to include in your Handshake Profile:
- Fill out your Education Section! Click the pencil next to your name and make sure you have your Major and Start/End Dates filled out.
- Fill out your Work Experience, make sure your Work Experience has a Job title, Employer, Time Period, and Location.
- Add any Organization and Extracurricular Activities.
- Add multiple skills, documents, courses, and projects.
- Add a profile picture.
