From September 8th-19th Career Services is holding a Handshake Profile Builder Challenge for the Winona students. Today is day 2, and students are being asked to add 1-5 skills onto their Handshake profiles. Students can explore the skills and competencies expected within their careers of interest by exploring the Labor Market Tool.
The Labor Market Tool is a great (free) resource you can share with students throughout the year! Whether students are undecided and want to research more about a role, or they have made their decision and need help finding an employer, this tool has something for them. If you have any questions about the tool, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! If your students have no idea yet, the career readiness competencies are skills employers always look for regardless of career path that they can highlight.
