The Office for Mission at the University of Saint Thomas will host a speaker series surrounding the life of Fr. John Markoe, SJ. A native of St. Paul, Fr. John spent five decades battling for racial equality in the Midwest. This presentation is entitled: “The Rarest Kind of Courage: The Extraordinary Life of Fr. John Markoe” and will speak to “bravery, perseverance, and faith” simultaneously uncovering the life of Fr. John who was a “dedicated advocate for justice”.
