Join us for Founders’ Day March 14

The Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota community will celebrate Founders’ Day on Tuesday, March 14, 2022 on its Winona Campus.

Founders’ Day celebrates the founding of our university by the Most Reverend Patrick Heffron, Bishop of the Diocese of Winona, over 100 years ago and the founding of the De La Salle Christian Brothers by Saint John Baptist De La Salle over 300 years ago.

All faculty and  staff are invited to join in the festivities.

The Founders’ Day Convocation will honor our  Brother Charles Severin, FSC, Excellence in Teaching Award winner (Michael Ratajczyk), our Distinguished Lasallian Educator (Andy Robertson), the Brother Louis Dethomasis, FSC Award winner (Sarah Haugen), and the 2023 Outstanding Male and Female Students.

For those of you on the Minneapolis Campus who might be unable to join us in person on the Winona campus, you are cordially invited to watch the livestream of the Convocation with your colleagues in the University Center. We hope that you will join us for this special day!
