Career Services will be conducting a Career Readiness workshop for undergraduate students today, Wednesday, January 11 at 5:00 p.m. in Toner Room 9.
Career readiness is the process of preparing students with the essential skills they need to find, acquire, maintain, and grow within a job and career. Employers utilize the 8 career readiness competencies to identify skills and abilities that will enable students to be successful across all job functions.
The Cardinal2Career 4-year plan will help students put the pieces together during their college career and become career-ready graduates.
Participants in this workshop will:
- Learn about the eight career competencies and Cardinal2Career 4-year plan;
- Understand how they can incorporate them into their college experience;
- Be able to represent the competencies within their resume, discuss them during an interview, and continue development after graduation.
