The First Generation Initiative will be hosting its upcoming First-Gen Chat & Chew on Sunday, September 28 at 1 p.m. in Aquinas Hall 300. The gathering invites all students, faculty, and staff—particularly those who identify as first-generation—to connect over food and conversation in a supportive community setting.
The Chat & Chew is designed to bring together first-generation members of the Saint Mary’s community, defined as those whose parent or guardian did not complete a four-year college degree, and offers an informal space for attendees to share their experiences, meet others with similar backgrounds, and strengthen connections across campus. There will be refreshments and snacks for attendees to enjoy, we look forward to seeing you there!
