Discernment is a really important word since it signifies a deep, prayerful decision about what path to follow. And the thing is, you don’t just discern once and that’s it; life is a series of discernments as each of us tries to keep attuned to God’s call in our lives.
Since discernment is so important, it seems wise to sharpen and deepen our skills in discerning well. To that end, the Midwest Vocation Team–Brothers Larry, Juan Manuel, and Matthew–is offering a Discernment Workshop next Tuesday, February 10. It will focus upon the six steps of Lasallian Discernment and will involve presenting, sharing stories, and reflecting. It will take place at 5:00pm at the Brothers’ Residence and will conclude at 6:30 with dinner with the Brothers.
