You may have noticed the Farmer’s Fridge in Lasalle Hall hasn’t been stocked lately and displays a message, “we are on vacation”. Unfortunately, the machine is being removed for not meeting sales performance. In order for the Fridges to operate sustainably, the company measures each Fridges’ weekly sales performance against a benchmark of $1,000 per week. Unfortunately, our location has consistently fallen below this threshold, with sales averaging less than $500 per week. Due to this, the company has made the difficult decision to initiate the removal of our Fridge.
