In January of 2023, Brother Juan Manuel came from Colombia to Saint Mary’s University to pursue a masters degree and to be a member of the Vocation Ministry Team for the Midwest District. In these three and a half years, Bro. Juan has shared an office in Campus Ministry with Brother Larry and has been very involved on campus. He currently leads music at the Spanish mass every Sunday at noon at St. Thomas More Chapel and also serves as a team leader for Fe y Vida, a national Lasallian ministry for Hispanic Catholics. In January, Brother JM graduated from SMU and received his Masters in Educational Leadership. In late June he will return to his home District of Bogota, where he will begin his new assignment at a Lasallian school in Villavicencio, Colombia.
On Monday, April 27, from 4:00-6:00pm, there will be a farewell reception for Brother Juan Manuel. Please stop by to wish him well and to enjoy some refreshments.
