Residents must clean, move out and check out of their residence halls after finals or graduation. All residents must be officially checked out of their room by a residence life staff member.
Move out is scheduled as follows:
- Undergraduate students must move out by 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4th
- Graduating seniors must be moved out by 12 p.m. on Sunday, May 8th.
Residents must contact either a resident assistant or hall director to schedule a time to check out of their current room / apartment / village, complete their room condition report and turn in their room key. Failure to schedule, clean, check out or turn in your key will result in fines from Residence Life.
EVERY resident must schedule a time to check out. A schedule has been shared with you by your hall director with available times. You will be able to see residence life staff listed in the tabs at the bottom of the schedule. Send an email directly to the RA / HD you wish to check out with and they will add your name to the schedule.
Students who are remaining on campus past finals will still need to checkout of your rooms, but not at this time. Seniors will checkout after graduation and anyone remaining on campus for the summer will check out before moving to different campus housing after the residence halls close.
