We are now in the last week of our “10 day” Handshake Profile Builder Challenge! Students are able to follow along day by day, or they can complete their profile all in one sitting – anything by Friday will count! Learn more about the challenge and pass the information along to students by reading here.
For today, students are asked to go to “My Documents” to upload their resume. Do your students need resume support? They can set up an appointment with us, or drop by the library tomorrow during our Resume Rev Up event.
Having a complete Handshake profile increases the chances of students hearing from relevant recruiters about opportunities, and allows for a more tailored experience on Handshake. As part of the challenge, the Winona class with the highest percentage of completed profiles will win $200 towards their class party.
This challenge is designed to help build student profiles above and beyond, however, at a minimum to be counted as a complete profile, students must have:
- At least one experience
- At least one organization
- At least one skill (we recommend having around 5)
