Faculty and staff – you can play a key role in helping students launch their career readiness! From September 8–19, Career Services is hosting the Handshake Profile Builder Challenge. A completed Handshake profile increases the chances of students hearing from recruiters – opening the door to more opportunities. Although the challenge is for Winona students, the SGPP students will still benefit from a complete Handshake profile, so encourage them to complete their profiles as well!
Encourage your students to sign in with their SMUMN account and begin completing their Handshake profile. Each day we’ll share a simple step, but all updates within the two-week challenge will count.
The class with the largest percentage of completed profiles will win $200 toward their class party.
To be counted, a student profile must include at least:
- One experience
- One organization
- One skill (we recommend five)
