“Hello everyone! I am a perpetually professed member of the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Michigan, residing at our convent here on the Winona campus. There are now 5 of us Sisters serving at Saint Mary’s! I recently earned a doctorate in clinical psychology from Divine Mercy University (in the Washington DC area). I moved to Minnesota from Oklahoma after completing my doctoral internship at the Eastern OK VA healthcare system. I have previously served as a hospital chaplain and in various administrative roles. I am looking forward to growing as a teacher within the supportive Saint Mary’s community. I have an office in St. Mary’s Hall #227, so please feel free to come by and say hello!“
We are thrilled to welcome Sr. Maria Amata to Saint Mary’s and wish her every success in her new role. Please join us in giving her a warm Saint Mary’s welcome!
