Today, Friday, is #Election Ready day of National Voter Education Week.  Elections are powered by people. Once you’re ready to vote, take it a step further: get your friends and family ready to make their voices heard, or become a poll worker, and let folks in your network know you’re #ElectionReady.

People are more likely to vote when they’re asked by someone they know. You are the best ambassador for voting in your community! You’ll be more effective at getting your friends’ attention than a stranger who is volunteering, and it’s one of the easiest ways to maximize your impact this election.

Becoming a poll worker is one of the best ways to keep polling locations open and working, allowing for social distancing and quick voting. By serving as a poll worker, you will contribute to a safe and fair election. In many states, poll workers have the opportunity to be paid. You can also add your poll worker experience to your resume!
