On April 17, 2003, Pope Saint John Paul II released the encyclical Ecclesia de Eucharistia, meaning “The Church draws her life from the Eucharist.” It is the 14th of 14 encyclicals that he would write during his pontificate. Ecclesia de Eucharistia concerns the centrality of the Eucharist to the definition and mission of the Church. This document was chosen for discussion as part of the National Eucharistic Revival throughout the United States.
Over the next several weeks, our chaplain Fr. Kevin Stolt, IVE will be leading a discussion of Ecclesia de Eucharistia on Sunday evenings. The first discussion will take place this Sunday at 6PM in the Vlazny Lounge, covering #1-10 of the document. All are welcome to participate!
