January 27th to January 31st marks Cyber Security Week, an important reminder about staying safe in today’s digital world. This initiative, organized by the National Cybersecurity Alliance, aims to raise awareness about the importance of protecting personal data and online privacy.

Cyber threats like hacking, phishing, and identity theft are real risks, but with the right knowledge, you can take steps to prevent them. Cyber security isn’t just for tech experts—it’s something we all need to practice.

This week, take time to review your online habits.

  • Use strong, unique passwords for your accounts
  • Enable two-factor authentication when available
  • Avoid clicking on suspicious links or downloading unknown files
  • Be cautious about what you share on social media, as even small details can be used by scammers

Remember, cyber security isn’t just about protecting your devices; it’s about protecting yourself and your future. By staying informed and vigilant, you can enjoy the benefits of the online world while keeping your digital life secure.
