In this week’s edition of Data Bytes from the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, retention rates by cohort at the Winona Undergraduate College are the focus. A cohort includes first-time degree-seeking undergraduate students entering the institution during the fall term. In very positive news, the retention of the fall 2024 cohort from fall 2024 to fall 2025 was 79.8%, a marked increase of over five percent compared to the fall-to-fall retention rate of the fall 2023 cohort.
