Do you have multiple students with grades of ‘D’ or ‘F’ on tests or overall in your course?
Has the student not submitted homework or continually submits homework late for your course?
Does a student habitually come late to class?
Do you have general concerns regarding a student?
All of these reasons and more are enough to submit an early alert. To submit an early alert, please follow the directions below:
- Log into “The Nest” – faculty.smumn.edu
- Click on Retention at the top of the page
- Click “Submit Alert”
- Complete alert form
- Once finished, please click “Submit Early Alert”
