Beginning Fall Semester 2023, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota will be one of five colleges in Minnesota offering the Community Health Worker Certificate. The online certificate is open to all who want to help underserved populations access and navigate the healthcare and community services they need. Community Health Workers work in community health clinics, advocacy organizations, hospitals and medical centers, and social service agencies.

The Community Health Worker certificate is 5 online courses (16 credits) and can be completed in two semesters. This also includes an 80 hour internship involving a supervised practical experience. Tuition is $300/credit. Website
