Who is eligible for benefits? Regular full-time (0.75 FTE – 1.00 FTE) and regular part-time employees (0.5 FTE), as described below.

What is Open Enrollment?

Open enrollment is your annual opportunity to add, change, or remove benefits enrollment elections for the next plan year. Elections made during open enrollment are effective on January 1, 2025. Outside of the annual open enrollment period, you may only make changes to your benefits elections within 30 days of a qualifying status change event. The following situations may allow you to make benefit changes if they impact eligibility or coverage.

  • Birth, Adoption or Placement for Adoption
  • Marriage
  • Divorce, Legal Separation, Annulment or Death of a Spouse
  • Death of Dependent
  • Dependent Gains or Loses Eligibility
  • Eligibility Status Change that Causes the Employee to Gain or Lose Eligibility for Coverage
  • Employee Commences Unpaid Non-FMLA Leave
  • Employee Resumes Services after Termination or Leave
  • Change in Residence which Triggers Eligibility Gain or Loss of Eligibility
  • Judgment, Decree or Order Relating to Coverage for Child
  • Enrollment in or Loss of Medicare or Medicaid
  • Loss of Governmental or Educational Institution Group Health Coverage
  • Change in Coverage or Cost
  • Change in Coverage though Another Employer’s Plan
  • Changes in Spouse’s or Dependent’s Employment which Causes Them to Gain or Lose Eligibility

When is Open Enrollment?

The open enrollment period for 2025 benefits is Monday, October 28, 2024, through Friday, November 08, 2024.

What is different this year?

  • This is an ACTIVE enrollment. Your participation is required. If you do not take action, you will not have coverage on January 1st.
  • Benefit coaches are available to explain new and existing coverage, as well as to assist with enrollment.
