Co-Curricular Arts Planning Update and Link to Share Ideas

Thank you to those who were able to attend an Engagement Session on Oct. 5 or 6, 2022 to share ideas as Saint Mary’s University plans for co-curricular arts offerings in 2023 and beyond. If you were not able to attend a session or would like to expand on an idea shared at a session, please complete this questionnaire. The questionnaire will be open until Friday, October 14.

Many thanks to the Co-Curricular Arts Planning Task Force members for their work on this important initiative. Task Force members are: Jimmy Bickerstaff, Tricia Dobrient, Janet Heukeshoven, Grace Howard, Lynette Johnson, Brady Plunger, Rebecca Smart, Peter Quinn, Lisa Truax, Aaron Young, and project manager Scott Walker.

The Planning Vision of the Task Force centered around:

  • Engaging the arts in the community of learning
  • Expressing truth, beauty, and goodness through the arts
  • Integration of the arts with our Lasallian Catholic educational mission
  • Nurturing a lifelong passion and practice for the arts
  • Complement the curriculum program
  • Developing and strengthening professional skills 

 

Save the date for upcoming sessions to preview and provide feedback on planning proposals.

The sessions are open to students, faculty, staff, and members of the arts community.
