During the last week of classes we are taking some time each day to share the available career resources you have at all times. Take a look at these resources over the summer to strengthen your career development. Today the resource spotlight is on our “Micro-Internships” section.
What are Micro-Internships? The micro-internships are made possible through a partnership with Parker Dewey in which you are able to take part in flexible, short, & real-world experiences. Best of all, the experiences are paid (and often remote)! Note, it sometimes takes a few applications before you land a micro-internship, but once you have one you are likely to get more! Check back often for more posted opportunities!
If you are looking for an opportunity to demonstrate your skills, explore career paths, and expand your network, but don’t have time for a traditional internship, these project-centered experiences are perfect for you – most can be completed remotely, typically involve 10 – 40 hours of work, and are deadline-driven as opposed to set during specific hours.
