The Saint Mary’s baseball team kicks off the 2026 MIAC Baseball Playoffs today in St. Paul, Minnesota at CHS Field.
First pitch is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. against No. 1 seed Bethel, the Cardinals are the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament.
The Cardinals and Royals battled earlier this season in a tightly contested showdown that slipped away from Saint Mary’s, but now the stakes are even bigger.
The two teams that fall on Thursday will battle in an elimination game at noon, while Thursday’s winners square off at 3:00 p.m. with a spot in the championship game on the line. The winner of the noon elimination game will then face the loser of the 3:00 p.m. matchup in another win-or-go-home contest at 6:00 p.m.
