The Business and Communication Department, in association with the School of Business and Technology’s Business Advisory Council, hosted its 2nd annual “Cardinal Connections” networking event on Thursday, September 28. Over 100 students and local business, nonprofit, and government professionals filled Aquinas Hall to meet and learn more about one another. The purposes of the event are to teach students how to mingle with professionals in a social setting, and for our local community members to learn about all the great things our students are doing.
One local business participant had this to say about the event: “I was so impressed with your students and their eagerness to share their stories and want to learn ours. And the number of freshman that I talked to – WOW! If they are already that interested in events like this they are going to go far no only in their education, but in life. What a great event. I was happy to be a part of it!”
