Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to announce that Pastor James E. Ward Jr. of Insight Church will be visiting Saint Mary’s this fall on the Winona and Twin Cities campuses on October 2nd. Pastor James is a current member of Father Burns’ President’s Council on Race and Diversity, an advisory council that advises the President on matters of race, diversity, and human dignity.
Pastor James, a pastor, dynamic speaker, and advocate for justice, will speak about themes in his recent book, Zero Victim. In light of this exciting event, the Office of Inclusion and Human Dignity will sponsor a book club on both campuses. Those who RSVP earliest will receive a free copy of Zero Victim. See the dates and times for the book club meetings below:
- Winona Campus: Wed., Sept. 13 from noon-1 p.m. Toner 9
- Minneapolis Campus: Thurs., Sept. 14, 3-4 p.m. LSH Conference Room
