Biochemistry majors Lexi Campshure and Melanie LaDue and biology majors Mckenzie Munson, Rebeca Pelluz Otero, and Analeese Weckwerth recently presented their senior research at the undergraduate poster session of the American Chemical Society Spring National Meeting. The meeting, an annual event hosted by the nation’s preeminent chemistry organization, drew over 10,000 attendees to Atlanta, GA from March 22–26, 2026.
In addition to the poster session, our Saint Mary’s students attended networking events and presentations, broadening their professional networks and gaining exposure to current research outside their majors. The students were accompanied by Dr. Nathan Lien, associate professor in the Chemistry Department.
