David Levinson, Managing Director of Strategy, People, and Operations, Teach For America

David Levinson leads hiring and performance initiatives for the organization’s recruitment team. David started his career as a corps member in New York, teaching 6th and 7th graders in all subjects. At the end of his teaching tenure, he was selected as a regional finalist for the national Sue Lehmann Award for Excellent Teaching, given to top second year teachers in the organization. He then worked as a Director of Teacher Leadership Development in the New York City and Miami regions, where he managed a caseload of TFA partner schools and coached between 30-50 corps members yearly.
