We are writing to alert you about the current construction on Hwy 43/Mankato Ave. between Sugar Loaf View and Belleview St. in Winona. The construction began on April 11 and will run through early November.
Between now and mid-May, construction will be focused on the Hwy 61/Hwy 43 intersection and along Hwy 61. There will be a reduced number of travel lanes. Please also look for turn lane and lane closure signs. Traffic congestion is expected to continue through this work zone, so travel delays are likely.
This construction may impact your family’s travel to and from campus for commencement if they are staying in hotels on the east end of Winona. More information about the construction is available under the Updates tab at this website.
