Career readiness is the process of preparing you with the essential skills you need to find, acquire, maintain, and grow within a job and career. Employers utilize the 8 career readiness competencies to identify skills and abilities that will enable students to be successful across all job functions.
Join Shelly Schell, associate director of Career Services, on Wednesday, April 6 at 5:00 PM in Toner Room 9 for the Career Readiness workshop.
Participants in this workshop will:
- Learn about the eight career competencies;
- Understand how you can incorporate them into your college experience;
- Be able to represent the competencies within your resume, discuss them during an interview, and continue development after you graduate.
