On Thursday, March 24th, all staff, Winona faculty, and SGPP core faculty will receive an email from the HelpDesk titled “You’ve been enrolled in security awareness training.” This training is provided through KnowBe4, the same company that sends out monthly phishing emails to help strengthen your ability to spot malicious emails. Research through KnowBe4, shows that phishing attacks grew by 28% in 2021 confirming that we need to continue increasing our awareness of cyber crimes.
This training will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete and must be completed within 4 weeks. You will receive weekly reminder emails.
The link in each email is unique to the person who receives it so if you know someone who didn’t receive the email, please have them contact the HelpDesk vs forwarding your email to them.
