After careful consideration and thoughtful deliberation, in consultation with the active members of our chapter, alumni, and university administration, the brothers of the Eta Nu Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia at Saint Mary’s University have decided to disassociate with the national organization so as to preserve who we are and what we do well.
Under the new name Per Musicam Amamus (“through music we love”), the music fraternity will continue to thrive at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, promoting the same objectives: the development of the best fraternal spirit, the mutual welfare of the brethren, and the advancement of music in America and loyalty to the alma mater.
