Saint Mary’s students, faculty, and staff can now access the Winona Creators Collective (Winona Makerspace) through our institutional membership.
Usage Requirements & Policy
- Mandatory Certified Accompaniment: To use the off-campus makerspace, you must be accompanied by a certified SMUMN representative. Authorized personnel currently include:
- Matt Klosky (Director of the Kabara Institute)
- Terra Lieser (Kabara & Makerspace Operations Manager)
- SMUMN Makerspace Student Interns (5 certified interns)
- Card Checkout: Access requires the associated number of membership cards for the number of people going to the makerspace. We have three official membership cards and one must be for the certified user. Cards must be checked out directly from Terra Lieser prior to your visit.
- Return Policy:
- Weekday Checkouts: Cards must be returned within 24 hours of checkout.
- Weekend Checkouts: Cards must be returned the following Monday morning.
